TENUTA S.ANNA CONTEMPORARY ART: PERCHE' UN BLOG?

Da oltre trent’anni i vini di Tenuta S.Anna si vestono dei grandi capolavori della pittura internazionale: Modigliani, Botticelli, Bruegel, Velazquez, Tiepolo, Caravaggio, Gauguin ed altri ancora. Una vera e propria “collezione in etichetta” divenuta nel tempo simbolo distintivo dell’Azienda e che tutt’oggi caratterizza allegoricamente il meglio della produzione di Tenuta S.Anna.
Felice accostamento, quello tra arte e vino, che giustamente sottolinea l’unicità di ogni singola bottiglia e accosta la più rappresentativa delle “Arti maggiori” all’umile arte di produrre vino, nettare che trascende la semplice definizione di “bevanda” e che ben si sposa alla sacralità, al mistero e alla magia di cui anche l’arte si compone. Identici per finalità il vino e l’arte: per la capacità di infondere gioia, stupore, riflessione, consolare gli animi e celebrare i successi.
Forte della propria unica tradizione ma protesa verso il futuro come è sempre stata, Tenuta S.Anna ha deciso per la prima volta nella sua storia di “aprire” all’arte contemporanea, promuovendo un Premio che coinvolgesse artisti contemporanei di tutto il mondo. Il vincitore, designato da una giuria di critici d’arte e rappresentati dell’azienda, avrebbe visto due delle sue opere sull’etichetta di due nuovi vini di Tenuta S.Anna.
Oltre 800 opere giunte da tutto il mondo hanno reso omaggio all’iniziativa, contribuendo a saldare il legame che unisce Vino e Arte. Un successo entusiasmante per la prima edizione di un Premio artistico!
L’artista vincitore verrà proclamato in occasione della premiazione del Premio Arte Laguna, il prossimo 6 marzo, presso le Tese dell’Arsenale di Venezia, mentre per scoprire i vini che ospiteranno le due opere l’appuntamento è fissato – immancabilmente – per Vinitaly 2010.

For over thirty years, the wines of Tenuta S. Anna dress of the great masterpieces of painting International Modigliani, Botticelli, Bruegel, Velazquez, Tiepolo, Caravaggio, Gauguin and others. A real "collection label" in time become distinctive symbol of the Company and that still characterizes the best of the allegorical production of Tenuta S. Anna.
Winning combination, the one between art and wine, which rightly emphasizes the uniqueness of each bottle and pulls the most representative of the "major arts" to the humble art of making wine, nectar that transcends the simple definition of "drink" and was well married to the sacred, the mystery and magic of the art which is made up. Same for the purpose wine and art: the ability to instill joy, wonder, reflection, comfort the hearts and celebrate the successes.
Strengthened by its unique tradition, but to the future as it has always been, Tenuta S. Anna has decided for the first time in its history of "open" to contemporary art, promoting a prize that involved contemporary artists from around the world. The winner, nominated by a panel of art critics and representatives of the company, would have seen two of his works on the label of two new wines of Tenuta S. Anna.
Over 800 works from around the world have paid tribute to the initiative, helping to pay the bond between wine and art. An exciting happened for the first edition of an art prize!
The winning artist will be announced at the awards ceremony of the Prize Arte Laguna, on March 6, at the Tese Arsenale in Venice, while discovering the wines that will host the two works, the meeting is to be - inevitably - to Vinitaly 2010
